The National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) is a federal program run by the National Institute of Standards and Technology that provides third-party accreditation to laboratories in the U.S. ASTM International is an international standards organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.  Speech Guard products have been tested for sound absorption and fire rating in NVLAP Accredited Labs.
